We're looking for an organized and content-focused SEO specialist to join the Croud team. In this role, you will support Croud's SEO team by delivering best-in-class recommendations, audits, insights, and strategic implementations-particularly around content creation-to help clients achieve their business goals and enhance their digital presence.As part of the SEO team, you will work closely with copywriters and internal stakeholders to develop optimized website and landing page copy that aligns with SEO best practices and client objectives. You will be responsible for collaborating on content strategies, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, and helping identify opportunities for improving organic search performance. You will also be responsible for reviewing SEO-optimized content for future edits, ensuring tone of voice, and branding, all while keeping business goals in mind.Our ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about the digital marketing, SEO, and content space. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, working closely with creative teams, and excited about presenting new content ideas. Prior experience in SEO, content creation, or digital marketing-especially within an agency environment-is preferred. You will thrive in this role if you can think both strategically and tactically, ensuring smooth project execution while delivering high-quality content and results for our clients.RESPONSIBILITIES Compile organic search reports for clients using tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Google Data Studio, Bing Webmaster Tools, Yoast/RankMath, and Google AnalyticsConduct keyword research, technical audits, and local SEO enhancements to support client strategiesStay up-to-date with SEO trends, search industry updates, and emerging content optimization practicesCollaborate with the SEO Manager to conduct comprehensive audits of websites, competitors, and content, identifying opportunities for technical and content improvementsWork closely with both internal teams and external copywriters to implement SEO deliverables, including website and landing page content updatesCommunicate SEO recommendations and necessary changes-both technical and content-related-to cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiencesProvide strategic recommendations, including content optimization, technical enhancements, and link-building strategies, to boost organic search performanceConduct keyword and trend research, and develop content strategies based on search insights, entity associations, and emerging search behaviorsReview, edit, and optimize title tags, meta descriptions, and website content to improve SEO performance, working closely with copywriters to ensure high-quality, search-friendly copyImplement on-page SEO recommendations across CMS platforms such as WordPress, focusing on improving both technical elements and contentUtilize local SEO tools to make strategic updates to clients' local listings, and manage listings manually or through enterprise platformsActively manage client deliverables by prioritizing tasks, adding next steps, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and expectationsShare insights with clients, ensuring they understand how these elements contribute to search performance, working with both technical and non-technical teamsBuild structured data and schema markup that's ready to implement by development teamsOffer hands-on support for implementing structured data, addressing Core Web Vitals issues, and other technical optimizations that improve client website rankingsExperience in Amazon Advertising and eCommerce SEO is a plus but not essentialQUALIFICATIONS Required2-3+ years of hands-on digital marketing and SEO experience, ideally within an agency environmentDetail-oriented and able to multitask, providing excellent client service, managing upcoming projects, and collaborating effectively with internal teams and clientsProficient with digital reporting & analysis tools and SEO platforms (Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.)Comfortable working with GA4 and GSC to analyze organic search data and derive actionable insights for clientsPassionate about building relationships with clients and colleagues, and comfortable working across various agency teams including Account Strategy, Brand Strategy, Creative, Development, Analytics, and New BusinessStrong understanding of SEO best practices, recent trends, algorithm updates, and keyword research, as well as both content and technical SEO strategiesExperience conducting SEO audits, including on-site performance, content strategy, backlink analysis, technical audits, and local SEO enhancementsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and succinctly in written formIn-depth knowledge of SEO, data analysis, and digital marketing trends, with a proven ability to draw actionable conclusions from dataExperience or a strong interest in learning local SEO, optimizing clients' local listings, and driving traffic to physical locationsExperience in managing content production processes as well as building content calendars, reviewing content pieces, and delivering on time to clients for publishing.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and stay motivatedProficient in Google Sheets and Docs for collaborative work with clients and internal Croud teamsJoin an award-winning team, named one of Atlanta's Best & Brightest places to work, and 6-time honorees of both the Inc. 5000 & UGA Bulldog 100 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.Profit-sharing bonusesNo pre-set vacation or PTO limitationsMonthly WFH/Office hybrid expense stipendContinuing education fund & scholarship programCompetitive employer-contributed Health Insurance + 401(K)Paid parental leaveDog-friendly office along Zonolite Park in Atlanta's Morningside neighborhoodA vibrant, non-competitive, friendly & respectful culture and environmentSalary Range for this position is $43,000-54,000 per year.
