E-Commerce SEO & Search Specialist

WeatherTech Direct, LLC is seeking a well-qualified E-Commerce SEO & Search Specialist to implement on-site search strategies based on data and enhance our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) web page ranks for our online properties.

Essential Functions

  • On-Site Search - Manage searched keywords, connect customer keywords to relevant content pages, optimize the search and setup search recommendation strategies for all online properties.
  • Create Blog/Content recommendations – on-site content research, develop strategies with website metrics in mind, keywords research and developing link building throughout the websites
  • Keyword research - blogs, product copy, product research, page level copy, meta descriptions and on-site search.
  • SEO content ownership - optimizing content, creating campaign/audience group keywords for ad copy
  • Competitive Content Analysis – digging into where we currently rank for key search terms compared to competitors and how can improve
  • Manage website redirects in third party tool
  • Website crawler tools management - Using content crawler analysis tools to extract data and report findings back to the eCommerce Analytics & SEO Manager
  • Google Page ownership - Google Business accounts and Google Cloud
  • SEO Analytics - creating reports, analyzing gaps, reporting data back to eCommerce Analytics & SEO Manager
  • Website speed optimization in terms of SEO
  • SEO market research - How AI is evolving in term of SEO, what is trending, future development or updates, Benchmarking, etc.
  • Develop optimization strategies to get and keep WeatherTech’s page links in the number 1 spot
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • **Note, this position is not a writing position, but you would collaborate closely with the Writing Team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Website Design/Marketing or related field required
  • Proficient in using Google Analytics and tracking website changes
  • Experience with SEO analytics tools (SEO Clarity, Conductor, Bright Edge, SEMrush, aHrefs, Majestic SEO, Moz, etc.)
  • Previous experience with Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
  • Content Management System (CMS) experience
  • Excellent understanding of website usability and best practices
  • Exceptionally strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and a style that maximizes web content usability and accessibility
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills to plan and complete tasks that contribute to long range goals, with the ability to switch focus to immediate changes in a dynamic environment, all while performing at a world class level
  • Self-starter and self-motivated to seek out and implement changes that benefit the company
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
