Job Responsibilities
- Implement daily class workouts
- Motivate and interact with studio members before, during and after class sessions
- Instruct and demonstrate each movement in the workout
- Ability to explain, modify, regress, and progress movements performed as needed to keep members safe and challenge them appropriately
- Communicate, lead and maintain organization in a loud and often chaotic environment
- Understand and demonstrate safe practices when coaching in a group setting
- Opportunities for personal training outside class hours
- Represent RACKED both inside and outside of the studio and actively participate in member engagement
- Ability to lift and move weights, benches, and other equipment (weighing up to 100lbs) to their appropriate storage locations
- Clean off equipment and high-use areas after each session
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, energetic, positive personality
- Current fitness certification from accredited organization NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE or similar
- Highly preferred: Strength & Conditioning Certification such as CSCS (NSCA), CFSC (Mike Boyle), PPSC (John Rusin), or similar
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- A background check will be conducted on all final candidates upon receipt of the signed offer letter and release form.
Ideal Candidate (what to look for):
- Character: drive, charisma, coachability, curiosity, team-ability, attention to detail, integrity
- 1 + years of experience in coaching and programming for clients in strength, mobility, and conditioning
- Functional Movement and/or corrective exercise certification and coaching experience
- Examples: FMS, NASM CES
- Experience coaching and programming for large groups or teams
- Active on social media platforms

- This is a physically demanding role. This role is required to safely demonstrate and perform various exercise movements with and/or without the use of equipment and have the ability to transport equipment (up to 100 lbs)
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. To complete the essential functions this role, candidates must be able to communicate with members and/or co-workers in spaces with moderate to loud levels of volume
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, safety protocols and procedures
