Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled PLC Programmer with Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk expertise to join our Omaha, NE team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automation technologies, developing, programming, and troubleshooting sophisticated PLC and SCADA systems. You will be integral to leading automation projects from conception to implementation, ensuring the seamless integration of control systems in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems to deliver high-performance automation solutions.
- Design, implement, and commission control systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
- Lead automation projects, managing timelines, requirements, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Create and debug HMI applications using FactoryTalk software to provide intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation, including wiring diagrams, system architecture, and programming specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
- Expertise in Rockwell Automation platforms, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix PLCs, with proficiency in Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
- Strong knowledge of industrial systems, networking, and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced technical environment.
- Local candidates with a stable work history are preferred.
- Schneider Electric Systems: Experience with Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure Control Expert, and EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation.
- Additional SCADA Systems: Familiarity with AVEVA OMI, Application Server, or other SCADA platforms.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with industrial and packaging machinery.
