StretchLab is seeking an experienced Fitness Studio Sales Manager to oversee sales and operations for our beautiful, brand new studio that will be located in San Jose, California.

Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. With Co-Founders coming from the Personal Training industry, StretchLab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to ‘Live Long’. StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields – physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more – and brought in the world’s leading authority on stretching and flexibility to deliver on the promise of having the finest team of stretching professionals gathered anywhere. StretchLab’s proprietary flexologist training ensures that their clients receive a world-class stretching session. StretchLab currently has close to 80 locations open nationwide with immediate plans for expansion.

POSITION:

The ideal Wellness Sales Studio Manager will be primarily responsible for driving studio sales and memberships. This role is comprised of 70-80% sales and 20-30% staff management and studio operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 2+ years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred
  2. Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales
  3. Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner
  4. Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
  5. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
  6. Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
  7. Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
  8. An affinity and passion for fitness
  9. Solid writing and grammar skills
  10. Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  11. Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
  12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  13. Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  14. Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  15. Proficiency with computers and Studio software

DUTIES:

  1. Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
  2. Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class
  3. Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
  4. Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  5. Supervise Sales Representatives and Flexologists
  6. Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
  7. Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
  8. Collect outstanding dues
  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio
  10. Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures
  11. Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible
  12. Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  13. Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  14. Any other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive base pay based on experience & performance, plus a robust commission and bonus structure.

Commission paid on sales.
