Position Overview
This role supports the studio's functionality, focusing on Sales and Operations. Candidates must be outgoing, team-oriented, and passionate about sales and service, with strong communication skills. Lots of potential for growth and opportunity.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
- 2+ years in a customer service role
- Proven ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in person, via phone, and email)
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Adaptable to fast-changing, diverse environments
- Ability to identify improvement areas and make sound judgments
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data management
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and well-groomed
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information responsibly
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public
- Calm, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
- Proficient with computers and studio management software
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends (especially during peak periods)
- Note: This is an on-site position, not remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead generation, including grassroots marketing and networking
- Drive membership sales and retention efforts
- Manage and grow all revenue streams (Memberships, Retail, Teacher Training)
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at client acquisition, activation, retention, and loyalty
- Organize and participate in grassroots marketing events weekly to attract new clients
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Attend studio, regional, and company-wide meetings and trainings as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Climb stairs where elevators are unavailable
- Visual requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to hear effectively in-person and via telephone
