WWMT/ARC West Michigan is seeking a director for our newscasts. You should have experience directing fast-paced newscasts with graphics, video animations, and live shots. This person should also have knowledge of production standards and equipment. Responsibilities: Perform any production duties as assigned including: Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions Ability to meet deadlines under pressure Maintain production studio and control room Requirements: Experience Directing and TDing newscasts Knowledge of production standards and equipment Ability to clearly communicate with crew, talent and producer during live broadcast College degree in a related field preferred Knowledge of iNews, Xpression and Ross switchers a plus Possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and have a good visual sense Flexibility with schedule also preferred Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
