Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Specialty Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Technical Marketing Director. In this position, the successful candidate will lead for our product marketing teams in the development and execution of our marketing strategies designed to enable our long-term business goals. The technical marketing director is responsible for creating high quality optimized content that generates awareness for our products and services, deploying marketing channels that produce a consistent flow of high quality leads, and providing clear focus for the product marketing and sales teams to enable STF to sell and close more deals with our target markets and customers.

Job Location:

This role will be based out of one of Vishay Specialty Thin Film's facilities. Facilities are located in Hollis, NH, Warwick, RI, and Fremont, CA.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing technology strategies aligned with division goals
  • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, engineering, and other teams to refine the optimal mix of technology differentiators
  • Stay updated on emerging marketing technologies and trends to enable early leadership positions and market share
  • Oversee the management of the company's marketing channels, including specialty thin film website content and design, social media management platform, and marketing data analytics
  • Regularly assess and optimize the performance of marketing technologies to improve functionality, cost efficiency, and ease of use
  • Oversee the generation of product information, white papers, case studies, and webcasts/webinars that will resonate with our target audiences
  • Lead the collection, management, and analysis of customer data to inform marketing strategies and decision making
  • Ensure consistent tracking, measurement, and reporting of campaign performance
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources and ROI on technology investments
  • Provide training and support to product marketing teams on the use of technology platforms
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between sales, product marketing, engineering, and other departments to maximize sales and marketing results
What you will bring along:

  • 15+ years of experience in technical marketing for semiconductor or electrical products, with a focus on creating high quality optimized content and driving growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from conception to completion
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to derive insights from complex datasets
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to present technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders
