Job Summary: This position is responsible for supervising student crews and student staff in the scene shop and coordinating staffing for department productions, coordinating crews for outside rentals, budgeting and purchasing for the scene shop, and lab supervision of Tech Theatre students. The incumbent will be required to do all structure designs and drawing for faculty and student scenic designers.

FLSA: Exempt
Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Position Qualifications: Masters degree in an Theatre technical production; or a BA/BFA degree in Theatre with a technical emphasis and two years of appropriate experience. A thorough knowledge of scenic materials and construction techniques, rigging, theatre safety, and lighting required.
Preferred Qualifications MFA in Theatre in Technical Production. Familiarity with sound and projection equipment desirable.

- 30% - Supervision of student crews and student staff in Scene Shop and on Departmental productions. Coordination of staffing needs for production requirements. Complete all structure designs and drawing for faculty and student scenic designers. - (Essential)
- 25% - Manages the budgeting and purchasing responsibilities for Scene Shop. - (Essential)
- 30% - Laboratory supervision of Technical Theatre students. - (Essential)
- 15% - Coordination of crews for outside rentals. - (Essential)
