THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Product Marketing Director to lead go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge data storage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both traditional and emerging data storage systems and a strong grasp of systems architecture. You will act as the bridge between technical and business teams, crafting compelling messaging that resonates with enterprise customers, technology partners, and industry influencers.
- Develop and drive the product marketing strategy for storage and data management solutions.
- Create positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to various customer personas, from CIOs to developers.
- Lead competitive analysis to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Translate technical product capabilities into customer-centric benefits and use cases.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on systems architecture and data storage, including File, Object Storage, Block and emerging AI-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to define product roadmaps based on market needs.
- Design and deliver product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions that highlight technical and business advantages.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted enablement materials and playbooks.
- Support sales teams in RFP responses.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives to gather feedback and refine product positioning.
- Develop high-impact assets, including whitepapers, case studies, presentations, blogs, and FAQs.
- Partner with demand generation teams to build campaigns that drive awareness, leads, and adoption.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, contributing to industry panels, events, and editorial publications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product or solution marketing within IT infrastructure, data storage, or enterprise software.
- In-depth knowledge of storage architectures, including block, file, and object storage, and familiarity with emerging trends such as AI-driven data pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads, data lifecycle management, and distributed storage systems.
- Expertise in aligning technical solutions with customer needs across various industries.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft messaging for both technical and business audiences.
- Proven experience in planning and executing marketing programs and campaigns.
- Collaborative and self-motivated team player with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to travel for industry events, customer visits, team offsites, and partner meetings.

- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
