We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, product managers, and customer support teams to develop user manuals, installation guides, integration guides, API documentation, and other technical resources. This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles, ZTNA architecture, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content. The ideal candidate will also be in the Eastern Time zone and the position is a remote "work from home" position.

Position Responsibilities
- Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop and update high-quality documentation, including installation guides, user manuals, release notes, API documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides related to ZTNA products and services.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to understand product features, network security technologies, and industry trends. Use this knowledge to produce relevant and accurate content.
- Ensure Clarity and Consistency: Write documentation that is clear, concise, and easily understandable for a diverse audience, ranging from technical network administrators to non-technical business decision-makers.
- Review and Edit Content: Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Ensure that all content is aligned with company standards and style guides.
- User-Centered Content Development: Develop content with a focus on usability, ensuring it meets the needs of end users by providing clear instructions and troubleshooting solutions for different ZTNA use cases.
- Conduct Research: Stay up to date with Zero Trust security models, ZTNA features, and industry best practices. Use this research to ensure documentation reflects the latest trends and technologies.
- Manage Documentation Projects: Plan, prioritize, and deliver documentation projects according to product development cycles and release schedules.
- Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, particularly in network security, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure
- Proven experience writing documentation for software products, preferably related to network security or Zero Trust technologies
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and architecture
- Knowledge of networking protocols, security models, firewalls, VPNs, identity and access management (IAM), and related technologies
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) and hybrid IT infrastructures
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise language suitable for various audiences
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
