We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team in Newtown, PA!
As our Technical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our cutting-edge telemetry products for the aerospace flight test and monitoring technologies market. You will be responsible for researching, organizing, writing, editing and producing technical data for major publication projects.
This is role will be a hybrid role, with some System Test Engineer responsibilities as well, empowering hands-on product experience in support of quality user documentation.

**YOUR CHALLENGE:**
+ Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication. Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style.
+ Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.
+ Works collaboratively with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation.
+ Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. Organizes material and writes descriptive copy according to standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
+ Participates in requirements reviews and executes system integration test plans as required.
**WHAT YOU BRING:**
+ Demonstrated experience (4+ years) creating customer-facing and internal technical documentation for organizations that develop hardware and/or software
+ Bachelors degree in communication, journalism, English, technology or related fields.
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality documentation and procedural manuals for a variety of audiences.
+ Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
+ Excellent written skills in English with a keen eye for detail.
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; level of experience with Linux, Scripting Language (Python, Lua, Perl), JIRA, XML considered an asset.
+ Instincts and communication skills to build relationships and rapport quickly.
