Elements Connect is looking for a Sr. UI/UX Designer to collect and create both functional and visually appealing digital products and features that address our clients' needs and deliver delightful experiences. This person will work closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to build and develop user-friendly digital products.
Responsibilities
- User-Centered Design: Champion a user-centered design approach, conducting user research, user testing, and personas development to inform design decisions.
- UI/UX Strategy: Develop and communicate design strategies, user flows, and wireframes to align with product goals and user needs.
- Visual Design: Create visually stunning and cohesive user interfaces, including icons, typography, color schemes, and graphic elements.
- Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to illustrate and validate design concepts and user interactions.
- Information Architecture: Define and optimize information architecture and navigation to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are effectively implemented.
- Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure design consistency across products and platforms.
- Accessibility: Ensure designs are accessible to all users, adhering to accessibility guidelines and standards.
- Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve designs.
- Project Leadership: Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, and advocate for user-centered design principles.
- Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies in the UI/UX field.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience with business process mapping and modeling.
- Omni-channel design and delivery experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with web and mobile design patterns and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lead design projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative and constructive approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.
