About Solayer Solayer is the leading restaking network on Solana, empowering decentralized applications (dApps) with optimized network bandwidth while simultaneously securing Solana’s Layer 1. Our mission is to help dApps on Solana achieve higher block space allocation and ensure prioritized transaction inclusion.

The Role We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with a passion for designing seamless, engaging user experiences. As a UI/UX Designer at Solayer, you’ll work on creating impactful and visually appealing interfaces that enhance usability and resonate with our users. This role requires a deep understanding of Figma and a solid portfolio that showcases your design skills. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring design concepts to life, all while helping to shape Solayer’s unique design language.

What You Will Do

  • UI Design: Create visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces that support product functionality and enhance user experience.
  • Prototyping: Use Figma to design interactive prototypes that communicate the flow and functionality of new features.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions and ensure user needs are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that designs are technically feasible and aligned with Solayer’s product goals.
  • Consistency & Cohesion: Maintain a consistent design language across the platform, evolving it as necessary to stay current with best practices and design trends.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio that demonstrates a variety of user-centered designs.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including experience with complex, interactive prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including responsive design, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Self-driven and organized, with a keen attention to detail.
