Role description:
This is a full-time role located in San Francisco, CA, though it is ok to be remote sometimes! As a UX/UI developer at Bland, your primary responsibility will be creating a delightful experience for our users. You will make building AI agents on Bland as enjoyable as possible, working with our users to figure out exactly what their needs are. We are a start-up, and we need people who understand what that means.
We aren't a super traditional team, but we are an extremely effective one. We love unique backgrounds, hard workers, and intelligent people who take pride in everything they do.
Things you might do:
- Maintain and improve on our developer portal to help users create AI phone agents.
- Create an onboarding experience for new users that helps them achieve what they want to do in the workspace.
- Work with users to better their experience with Bland.
You will…
- Work closely with our engineering and customer success teams to better understand how to make our core product offerings perfect.
- Conceive, design and develop workflows and UIs that help our users build and test their phone agents.
- Integrate AI features that reduce common development pitfalls.
- Continuously improve the user experience for our tools and integrations.
Required skills and Experience:
- You have a minimum of 2+ years of work experience as a Software Engineer.
- You have deep expertise in React and the DOM, and understand how to optimize it for maximum rendering performance.
- You have experience with Typescript or similar strongly typed languages.
- You can architect reusable, cross-platform components and layout systems.
- You pay attention to small details and enjoy collaborating with designers to polish the UI.
- You are comfortable working full-stack, from building React components to developing APIs to integrating with third-party services.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with CodeMirror or other rich-text editors.
- Experience in building clients for AI/LLM Services.
- Experience in navigating, debugging, migrating large React codebases.
- Experience with React Native.
- Experience with Vercel.
