Rugiet Health is an Austin, TX-based growth-stage company aimed at disrupting the US Healthcare market by democratizing access to best-in-class compounded medications delivered through a bespoke/luxury online marketplace. Rugiet is operated by a small but passionate management team with deep industry experience in Clinical, Marketing, and Technology verticals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer who excels in both high-fidelity and low-fidelity wireframing. The ideal candidate is skilled in using popular design tools such as Figma, works quickly, and is highly responsive to project needs. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Experience in the telemedical health industry is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wireframe Design: Create high-fidelity and low-fidelity wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Use tools like Figma to produce designs that are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and apply insights to inform design decisions, ensuring that the final product meets user needs and provides a seamless experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand project goals, and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Rapid Prototyping: Quickly produce wireframes and prototypes to explore design solutions and iterate based on feedback.
- Design Execution: Transform wireframes into visually compelling, high-fidelity mockups that align with the project’s vision and objectives.
- Feedback Integration: Regularly gather and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Design Tools:Expertise in using the Adobe Suite and Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Creativity and Innovation: A strong creative vision with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative design solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Telemedical Health: Familiarity with the telemedical health industry is a bonus, helping to create user experiences that resonate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Experience in User Research: Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and apply findings to improve design outcomes.
- Familiarity with Design Systems: Experience in working with or creating design systems to maintain consistency across products.
