Slalom Flex (Project-Based) - UX/UI Designer

What You'll Do

Plan and Conduct User Research Studies: Develop comprehensive research plans and corresponding methodologies to gather user insights.

Participate in Stakeholder Interviews: Conduct interviews with stakeholders and synthesize learnings.

Participate in Kickoff Workshops: Align on project scope, desired business outcomes, and success criteria.

Co-create Service Design Blueprints: Develop both current-state and future-state service design blueprints, identifying features and functionality for the envisioned future-state experience.

Develop User Flows: Create user flows for prioritized use cases.

Create Low-Fidelity Wireframes: Visualize design concepts and gather initial feedback.

Partner with Technical Teams: Ideate and validate the feasibility of design concepts.

Engage in Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of designs.

Refine Designs: Iterate on designs based on feedback from usability testing, increasing levels of fidelity.

What You'll Bring
Strong Research Skills: Proven track record of conducting user research studies with examples of recent work.
Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and synthesizing learnings.
Workshop Facilitation: Ability to participate in and contribute to kickoff workshops to align on project scope and outcomes.
Service Design Expertise: Experience in creating current-state and future-state service design blueprints.
Wireframing Skills: Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes to visualize design concepts and gather feedback.
Technical Collaboration: Experience partnering with technical teams to ideate and validate design concepts.
Usability Testing: Skills in conducting usability testing sessions and refining designs based on feedback.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $70 to $80/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
