The UX Designer plays a critical role in the overall success of our global digital shared services experience (Enterprise Services, Payroll, HR, Travel & Expense, etc . ) at RTX. This role will design simple, easy, and human experience s in a variety of portals - primarily in the ServiceNow environment.
What You Will Do

Focus on the look, feel, operation, user experience and functionality of application s and experiences developed on the ServiceNow platform.

Conduct user research to better understand our customers’ pain points, including focus groups, surveys, and interviews.

Drive UX projects from start to finish: lead client intake, right-size with a flexible approach, conduct research, develop insights, design, test, launch, and iterate.

Develop personas, journey maps, etc. to better understand the global experience and make impactful change .

Work closely with SNOW process owners, developers , and stakeholder to prototype new or build the UX/UI of existing ServiceNow experiences.

Creat e new concepts with wireframes, producing high-fidelity mockups, writing detailed documentation, and critically assessing designs.

Perform usability studies and testing, including interviews and analysis , tree testing, card sorting, etc.

Craft visuals that help illustrate and help reinforce storytelling from end-to-end.

Partner with the SNOW Delivery team to enhance our existing t axonomy and information architecture.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or other related fields, and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Minimum 5 years of applicable work experience as a UX/UI Designer

Previous experience with user-centered design principles, UI design, and information organization.

Experience with UX design tools, specifically Figma
-
Previous experience with user testing and usability analysis.

Previous experience with UX Content design, including taxonomy and information architecture.

Previous experience designing in the ServiceNow platform, specifically in HRSD / ECPro.

Remote; this role is eligible for remote however, must be performed in one of the U.S 50 states, excluding U.S territories.

If local to Farmington, CT, Charlotte, NC, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Dallas, TX, hybrid or onsite may be requested. Hybrid employees work both onsite and offsite, regularly.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
