Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HP-UX Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an HP-UX Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing HP-UX systems to ensure the highest level of performance, availability, and security for our customers.
Qualifications:
• Mid-level experience as an HP-UX Systems Administrator, with a deep understanding of HP-UX operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and system management tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HP-UX System Administration: Utilize your expertise in HP-UX to install, configure, and maintain HP-UX servers and associated hardware and software components.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to optimize HP-UX systems for peak efficiency and reliability.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security policies and measures to protect HP-UX systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for HP-UX systems to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
