UX Design System Program Manager
We are seeking a UX Design System Program Manager to join our Design Operations team. You will partner directly with UX Leadership and designers to refine and build upon existing design system best practices, streamline and scale programs and tooling, and drive adoption of the UX Design System.

You'll bring exceptional project management skills to the team, along with a deep understanding and passion for design systems and operations. You'll help us ensure increased adoption of the UX Design System across the ICG lines of business. You will manage critical functions of the Design System team, including prioritizing requests, planning projects, defining goals and milestones, onboarding and managing vendors, and helping to define the overall vision and strategy. You'll also develop processes and workflows that allow the team to effectively scale as it grows.

Responsibilities:
•Understand the Digital UX Design System team and its priorities, and how its work fits into the wider ICG Digital UX landscape.
•Manage the operations of detailed projects that will promote adoption of the Design System across various ICG products.
•Partner with UX designers and developers to support engagements that will improve the Design System and advocate for Design System best practices through the organization.
•Scale operations by defining and formalizing repeatable processes, best practices, and corresponding documentation.
•Collaborate across UX teams to scale and execute project plans end-to-end, thinking about how to optimize resourcing, time, and funding investment.
•Become an SME on the functionality of the ICG Design System and associated libraries.
•Help define the strategic roll out of the ICG Design System and track implementation.
•Develop programs to measure the usage and impact of the Design System across the ICG organization.
•Own recurring stakeholder updates; serving as bridge between ICG Design System and cross-functional teams and leaders.
•Proactively identify risks, and mitigation plans for those risks, before they become issues; adapt our strategy as needed to minimize project impact.
•Co-own and manage contracts and administrative governance for UX Design tools; including budgeting, contract renewals (in partnership with procurement team), and usage documentation or trainings for the team.
•Constant advocate for sharing, socializing, and evangelizing the value of the ICG Design System throughout the organization, including owning Office Hours and publishing Release Notes.
•Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Major Global bankgroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:
•5+ years of relevant experience in UX design system teams and operations.
•7+ years of experience leading end to end project delivery for large, cross-functional project teams.
•Experience developing and scaling design system within a growing design discipline.
•Experience establishing and maintaining team resources and communications, including templates, playbooks, and training calendars.
•Advanced project management and execution skills, including a passion for planning, tracking, organizing logistics, details, and documentation.
•Excellent communicator.
•Ability to execute in a large, matrixed organization.
•Experience escalating issues, making trade-off decisions, balancing constraints, and communicating risk.
•Understanding of UX design and common design processes.
•Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.
•Experience with research and design in Agile/Scrum.
•Well-versed in Figma, Invision, Bitbucket, Microsoft Suite, and other common design, development, and program management platforms.
