- Own and facilitate the cross-sectional and longitudinal user research efforts for client projects, including some of the following original research methods:
- In-depth interviews
- Usability testing
- Surveys
- Kano feature analysis
- A/B testing
- Diary studies
- Analytics data analysis
- Conduct secondary research, including market research, competitor and technology analysis.
- Managing a backlog of research questions that influences the research roadmap for our clients.
- Work with our clients and our internal teams to ensure that what we learn (using techniques listed above) is incorporated into our process and the products we create.
- Provide internal support to Livefront product teams, helping advise and execute on product user research efforts.
- Bring your voice to the community, both locally and beyond, sharing your experiences and point of view through writing, speaking, and other mediums.
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of a Livefront UXR resource library.
- Help product teams form a well-reasoned answer to the evergreen question of “so now what?”, translating the insights you uncover into actionable product plans and strategies.
- A craving for a role where your research directly influences the direction of digital products before they hit the market.
- 3-5 years conducting user research in a dynamic tech environment, whether in-house or in a consultancy.
- Expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, from ethnographic studies and interviews to surveys, diary studies and usability testing.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize and communicate findings to all stakeholders, translating data into narratives that propel decision-making and product development.
- A history of working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to integrate user research into the product development process.
- Comfort navigating the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of digital product design, with a knack for prioritizing research questions in a way that balances thoroughness with agility.
- A never-ending desire to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations, and to explore how emerging technologies might meet those needs.
- Sharp critical thinking skills, and a yearning to influence product strategy.
- Above-average discipline and personal organization skills.
- A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
- Have a portfolio of research that spans various digital platforms in a consumer facing setting (iOS, Android, Web, etc.).
- Can design and build prototypes in Figma.
- Regularly share your insights through writing, speaking, or teaching.
- Possess a deep understanding of and experience with product and design thinking frameworks.
