CLIENT X-Labs is the cross-disciplinary, creative innovation group focused on the intersection of human-centered design and outdoor media. The group, which is situated within the larger Client X marketing department, comprises four key teams, each working in lockstep to explore the future of outdoor media through concept to realization.
1) Digital Creative
- Future-forward concept development and realization
2) Experience Design
- Omni-channel design focused on the consumer experience and culturally relevant
solutions
3) Creative Technology
- Enhancing outdoor experiences through emerging technology integrations
4) Dynamic Content
- Interactive, data-driven, and full-motion content production
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Senior Experience Design Lead in the CLIENT X-Labs group, you will be a key representative of the Experience Design team. You will lead development of all IA/UX/CX/UI based efforts, including the generation of presentation and documentation materials, and be responsible for the management of design and research resources and workstreams. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader, mentor, and contributor, while embracing a cross-functional and collaborative approach to partnering with other disciplines. Culturally, the X-Labs group is all about empathy for our teammates and you will be tasked with ensuring this philosophy by modulating your style to compliment ones that differ. Throughout CLIENT X, the X-Labs group is known for its strong relationships, where our proactive, solution-oriented methodology has led to great results for our stakeholders. If you’re one part logic and one part creative you’ll find your footing well within this role; as it requires organizational thinking and architecting matched with future forward creative solutions that meet business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this aspect of the role you will be serving as the resident expert in UX and IA best
practices and implementation. You will work closely with product owners and product marketing
teams to ensure KPI’s are understood and considered from briefing to execution. You will be
expected to develop annotated documentation that can be reviewed and approved by key
stakeholders over the course of a project. As with most UX/IA assignments, you will also develop
wireframes, site maps, and user flows to effectively communicate strategies.
- Traditional Web + App – Your primary UX/IA focus will be on existing websites/products
that undergo updates or complete redesigns, both internally and with external partners
- Emerging Experiences – At times, we will develop emerging technology products, such as
AR/MR/VR and other second-screen experiences that require forward thinking design.
Consumer Experience: Connecx by OUTFRONT
Part of the vision for Connecx by OUTFRONT is to bring the art and science of consumer
experience to outdoor media. Much like a digital product, where the user flow or consumer journey is
central to the end-user experience, we’re taking the same approach to our digital media and the
environments they coexist within. It’s our belief that outdoor digital media must integrate into
communities and provide more purpose, meaning, and value to audiences and advertisers alike. To
make this belief a reality, we’ve developed the consultative service for our transit and municipality
partners to bring real-time information and assistance to communities. You will play a key role in
bringing this vision to life and collaborating with our partners as the primary representative for the
service. This will include:
Leading CX discovery sessions with key stakeholders
