Poor data quality across the Marketing Supply Chain creates inefficiencies, slows decision-making and blocks innovation. Global Marketing teams spend tens of thousands of hours aggregating, validating and reconciling foundational data. As we focus on initiatives to better integrate siloed workflows, the Marketing organization requires centralized support to manage the creation, validation and enhancement of its’ data resources. Within our Prime Video Global Operations team, we’re looking for a results-driven TPM to establish a new Marketing Data Management Office (MDMO). This individual will be tasked with implementing data management procedures to oversee the quality of Marketing’s most critical data resources, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to rollout innovative data aggregation solutions across global workflows, and serve as a trusted data expert across the Marketing supply chain. The work that this individual does will support thousands of Marketers, establishing bridges between siloed workflows, driving Prime Video to the forefront of consumer marketing practices. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Data professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes diving into the minute details of data structures and taxonomies, enjoys the challenge of complex business context and workflows, and, above all else, is passionate about data and data governance. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership, is self-driven and loves to break new ground. You will bring a mix of experience including data management and governance, analytics automation, global program management, senior stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and process improvement. Key job responsibilities • Create authoritative data records and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures. • Analyze and develop data management workflows including submission, collection, management and maintenance of data entities. • Analyze, develop and maintain standardized data taxonomies, ontologies, hierarchies, and models including the research, catalog, and mapping of existing data source fields to the standardized taxonomy. • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational workflows, and data management guidelines. • Develop solutions for operational data issues through critical thinking, risk mitigation, presenting recommendations, proposals, and implementation plans. • Develop system requirements and coordinate implementation with technology teams, interacting with Product and Engineers. • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce governance policies within operational workflows. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of technical product or program management experience 3+ years of software development experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
