We are seeking a talented Paid Media Launch Manager to lead the paid media execution across digital channels including paid social platforms like Meta and TikTok, as well as YouTube. You will be a key contributor to the overall Prime Video campaign launch strategy, owning channel level objectives to maximize and optimize our marketing and media investments in a programmatic way driving brand equity, engagement, and subscriber acquisition. The Paid Media Launch Manager, Paid Social ensures agency partner teams effectively balance targeting and bid methods to deliver intended outcomes, at scale and on time, and within efficiency guardrails. In this role, you will actively represent the results across functional peer reviews to ensure insights and techniques improve channel effectiveness. The role requires an ability to earn trust and demonstration of high fidelity stewardship to meet project milestones, achievements and escalation of blockers through clearly articulated and scaled communication updates across a wide marketing stakeholder team (Media Managers, Campaign Managers, Channel Strategists, etc.). The Paid Media Launch Manager needs to be customer obsessed, understanding audience consumption habits and the best ways to reach them, while staying close to the tactical details across campaigns to manage investments and deliver outsized impact. An ability to innovate remains a critical component for success in this role. You influence upstream tactical planning (platform mix, ad product utilization, creative best practices) anchored in a deep understanding of the latest product features and identify testing opportunities. You will sit at a unique intersection within Prime Video, and you must demonstrate a nimbleness to operate and influence multiple stakeholders across not only marketing, but also organic social, creative, analytics, and product / tech teams. The expectation includes providing subject matter expertise and use case identification to advance and drive future automation, ad tech or optimization techniques to maximize business impact. You will deliver consistent performance feedback as an input into channel level performance assessments and raises optimization considerations. Fluency in channel experimentation design and ownership of a testing agenda provides a continuous feedback loop for future marketing optimizations (across lifecycle and broader strategies). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining playbooks to ensure marketing stakeholders remain informed of the latest best practices. Ultimately, it is required that you maintain a deep understanding of media knowledge including: (1) platform nuances and auction dynamics, (2) media optimization techniques (targeting, bid strategies, event analyses), and (3) relevant Ad Tech and Data capabilities. Your success will be measured through expanded marketing throughput, increased effectiveness of attributed media performance metrics, and YoY efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate with Prime Video marketing and media team members on bar raising campaigns, delivering on campaign objectives through agency day to day ownership. Additionally, you will work closely with centralized Amazon teams who focus on developing automated business solutions for your needs, supporting ad tech projects across paid channels. You should have a growth mindset with a passion to dive deep, strong project management skills, a high level of customer focus, and a track record in transforming marketing performance data into digestible, actionable insights. Reporting to the Manager, Paid Media Launch Management, you will drive marketing results including activations across campaigns for our top Prime Video content, maximizing agency resources while campaign managing their SOWs, and identifying optimization opportunities with the north-star goal of driving customer engagement and retention efficiently and at scale. Utilizing an existing tool set across biddable media channels - you will raise the bar and expand our opportunities into new partners and ad tech opportunities. Additionally you will provide knowledge share opportunities to educate other launch managers across Meta, TikTok, Kochava, and other paid media platforms/ad tech to effectively execute paid social & YouTube activations across the customer journey. You will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and ensure best practices for Prime Video growth. Key job responsibilities Own goals and performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns; monitoring regularly to understand effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Serve as the YouTube, Tiktok, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit day to day lead, properly communicating and evangelizing processes, platform execution, customer engagement techniques and industry related topics. Own day to day relationships with agency teams and decision-makers across the US Paid Media Team driving stakeholders to execute on effective media plans that align with the overall marketing strategy. This includes management and reporting of budgets, goal-pacing, overall performance & digital marketing trends, test & learn frameworks, and work with Prime Video marketing managers to evaluate opportunities to inform product roadmaps. Provide consultation on platform offerings to help inform product team and roadmaps. Facilitate and communicate comprehensive analysis and insights of campaigns and experiments, and make actionable recommendations to senior leadership and with agencies who will execute campaigns. Coordinate with marketers in the US and globally to drive execution of marketing experiments and campaign / channel holdouts. Support annual ad tech priority planning, and scoping of top paid social customer use cases to support with engineer resources. Consult on best practices for campaign launch and dive deep with select ad tech partners on behalf of paid social leads globally. Manage external partner relationships with social platforms and Prime Video digital marketing agencies, and identify new biddable media opportunities for testing; own any platform related test & learn frameworks/playbooks working to drive high standards with use of platform; support media leads with joint business plan execution and tracking with Google and agencies. Understand the competitive media landscape and keep abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities to drive programmatic strategy to deliver results that directly contribute to our business goals. Improve biddable media program operations and management by identifying tools and mechanisms for automation, efficiency, and scale. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market.
