Position Overview The Senior Media/Video Technician Level II will be responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown and occasionally operation of electronic video equipment for the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)).
Essential Job Function
  • Audio video (AV) technicians responsible for USD (A&S) Executive Conference Room/Facility.
  • Responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown and occasionally operation of electronic video equipment.
  • Additional duties may be assigned, as required within the context of these duties to support USD (A&S) Senior Leadership Conference Schedules
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have an active Secret or Top Secret/SCI facility clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience, to include personnel, scheduling, task management, planning, programming, forecasting, correspondence, security, and facilities with the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Must have experience within DoD and other federal agencies.
  • Must be highly proficient in using Video Conference Room Equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods.
  • Must have strong active listening skills to assess customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
  • Must have outstanding customer service abilities, initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects
