EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR REGIONAL VISUAL MERCH MANAGER:
  • District Manager is in charge of the hiring process.
  • Personnel training and motivation: set improvement goals for training and one on one face to face encouragement.
  • Checks hours on time and attendance for all Visual Merchandiser employees each week.
  • Perform evaluations and disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Use excellent customer relations.
  • Ensure that their crew is at work and ready to work.
  • Ensure the safety and productivity of employees.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Overall design of Ashley locations in the Tulsa metro area.
  • Conduct evaluations, reprimands, commendations, and separations for the visual merch team.
  • Collaborate with other District Managers.
  • Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
  • Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
  • Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
  • Any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR REGIONAL VISUAL MERCH MANAGER: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; 2 - 3 years of visual display experience preferred;knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate controlled environment.
