Responsibilities
Salary Range
USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Description
Markon is seeking a Web Developer to support our Intelligence Customer in shaping the digital experiences of our users.
Responsibilities
- Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive HTML and CSS layouts.
- Enhance user interactions using JavaScript and front-end libraries (e.g., React.js).
- Optimize performance for various devices and browsers.
- Utilize Git for version control, collaborating with other developers and designers.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
- Work closely with UX designers to implement visual elements.
- Use design tools (such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) to create pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Conduct user research to understand behavior, preferences, and pain points.
- Validate designs through usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
- Apply visual design principles (layout, typography, color theory) to create cohesive experiences.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and maintain a unified look and feel.
- Implement best practices for web accessibility (WCAG) to make our products inclusive.
- Add alt text, ARIA roles, and other accessibility features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our products meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and aesthetics.
- Active TS/SCI FSP required
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science is desired, Web Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Tableau and Joomla experience preferred.
- Experience migrating internal websites to new systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
