ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, you will serve as a scientific and technical advisor to ARPA-H-enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As Web Developer, you will provide support and thought leadership to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem. This role supports the Division of Communications (DOC) and the Office of Information Technology and Data Innovation (ITDI).
What you will do:
Serve as Web Development and Design Expert:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain web pages and web application across various platforms, including Intranet pages, SharePoint sites, Drupal sites, and Power Apps.
- Collaborate with ARPA-H leadership and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with ARPA-H organizational goals and user needs.
- Conduct usability testing and user journey mapping and translate findings to stakeholders to inform design and development of intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experience.
- Design, develop, and deploy Drupal migration scripts and custom Drupal modules to extend website functionality.
- Serve as Tier III escalation point for technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex web and application problems.
- Actively track and analyze new research and technologies in this field.
- Identify and propose emerging methodologies and technologies that could enhance the program's progress.
- Participate in technical discussions and presentations, contributing your expertise to the program's overall knowledge base.
- Build strong relationships with computational scientists, engineers, and other scientific advisors involved in the program.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.
