Yorktel is currently seeking an experienced Angular Web UI Developer who will assist the client in completing the functionality of a newly developed cloud-based public inquiry system. The developer will work with the product owner and the development team to design, develop and maintain this custom intranet web application.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients, architects, consultants, and Yorktel staff throughout the design development and delivery process with the support of the Team Lead.
  • Work with product owner and managers to define and design new functionality.
  • Develop prototypes of new functionality based on the defined specification.
  • Work with other developers to define back-end API needed for the new functionality.
  • Develop new functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing functionality.
  • Follow Yorktel procedures for archival of project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff, client representatives, cooperative trades, and subcontractors.
  • Complete assignments on time and within budget.
  • Conform to company technical standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Yorktel policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of Yorktel processes and procedures as well as individual customer processes and procedures.
  • Willingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Front-End Developer who is experienced using the following technologies:
    • Confident and mastery of Angular 17 and higher
    • Confident and mastery of TypeScript
    • Understands Tailwind CSS
    • Knowledge of Telerik Kendo Angular controls
    • Knowledge of NGRX Redux state management
    • Understands how to develop accessibility compliance pages
    • Knowledge of NX CLI workspace management
  • Any knowledge of Back-End technologies is a plus:
    • SQL Server
    • Confident and mastery of ASP.NET Core Web API
      • Entity Framework
      • Fast Endpoints Library
    • Confident and mastery of the C# language
    • Confident and mastery of Entity Framework Core
    • Basic understanding of Entra ID (Formally known as Azure AD)
      • MSAL: Microsoft Authentication Library
        • OAuth 2.0
        • OpenID
    • Azure DevOps CI/CD Automation pipeline
      • To maintain current automation, build, and release pipelines
  • Other knowledge and skills desired:
    • Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
    • Git source control
    • Project management software such as Agility
    • Confluence content management
    • Tableau reporting tool

Education & Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in web design and development or
  • Bachelor’s degree in a multi-media web design or IT related field plus 5 years’ experience in web development

Additional Requirements:

  • May require occasional lifting to 25 lbs.
  • Requires extensive sitting, standing, and walking
  • Domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid Passport: International Travel may be required
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts
  • Must be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.
