Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
•User Interface Design: Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces for both web and mobile applications using Figma, ensuring a seamless user experience.
•Collaborative Development: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create cohesive and user-focused designs that align with project goals.
•Design System Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s design system to ensure consistency in design elements across all platforms, facilitating a unified brand identity.
•User Research & Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, ensuring our solutions effectively meet user needs.
•Visual Content Creation: Develop visually compelling graphics, icons, and illustrations for use across digital platforms, enhancing overall aesthetic appeal and functionality.
•Thorough Documentation: Document each screen design with comprehensive descriptions and associated diagrams, including:
oMermaid Diagrams for visualizing workflows and processes.
oSequence Diagrams to illustrate interactions between components.
oFlowcharts to map out user journeys and decision points.
oBusiness Process Documentation to outline the rationale and objectives behind design choices.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
•Design Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Figma, with a compelling portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and creativity.
•Design Principles Knowledge: Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and responsive design, particularly mobile-first design principles.
•Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to effectively share ideas and gather feedback from team members.
•Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
•Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate better communication with developers and understand technical constraints.
•Design Tools Experience: Experience with additional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prototyping tools like InVision or Sketch.
•Accessibility Standards: Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, ensuring that designs are inclusive and user-friendly for all audiences.
•User Research Expertise: Experience with user research methods and usability testing, leveraging insights to inform design improvements.
•Diagramming Skills: Experience with Mermaid.js or similar tools for creating diagrams and visual documentation to enhance design clarity and communication.
