  • Work independently to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve complex bugs with limited supervision.
  • Research, prototype, and implement front-end code for multiple development projects in the Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service environment, considering security, maintainability, scalability, performance, and documentation, while creating innovative solutions to achieve Marketing goals.
  • Participate in an iterative design and implementation lifecycle with Minitab's Marketing team and outside design firms, providing critical technical implementation and feasibility evaluation for the team.
  • Provide technical oversight and execution of front-end and back-end functionality across Minitab's global web properties, and configure third-party web platforms (CMS, Event Management and ECommerce) using Minitab's web design standards so that our brand and style systems are implemented consistently across our sites.
  • Understand Minitab's business operations, business rules, strategies and goals in the context of Minitab's corporate strategy and global operations requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Continue to expand your level of domain knowledge and development skills in one or more key technical areas and function as a resource for others in the department working in those areas.

Serve as backup for other web developers and participate on project teams to support our global websites.

  • Generalist skill set, able to work comfortably on front-end or back-end problems.
  • Working experience with at least one well-known CMS platform. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager a bonus.
  • Experience in implementing responsive design patterns along with mobile performance and optimization strategies.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and standard resolution strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for explaining complex technical concepts to marketers, designers, and other stakeholders.

The following are also desirable:

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to work well in a team of skilled software, marketing, and design professionals, with the ability to build consensus for new practices and technologies.
