Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Provide top-tier service that encourages repeat visits, engaging customers with a positive and helpful attitude.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations set by the Gaming Control Board, ensuring full compliance at all times.
Familiarize yourself with all betting options and engage in conversations with customers about sports and betting choices.
Address customer complaints and disputes, escalating to a supervisor when necessary to ensure resolution.
Work effectively with other team members and management, contributing to a positive work environment.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation per company policies and Gaming Control Board standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency with email, MS Excel, and internet navigation.
Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a professional setting.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions as necessary.
Strong commitment to providing high-level customer service.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Present a polished and professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Responsibility for understanding and adhering to all company and VA Lottery compliance requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 25 lbs.
Ability to write for long periods.
Ability to twist, bend, and reach without significant restrictions.
Willingness to work in an environment that may be exposed to smoke.
