The Engagement Manager will assist agency executive management, division directors, and information technology staff. Lead tasks and resources, including State personnel and deliverables. Use appropriate management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching for IT project teams. Work directly with agency staff, vendors, and other state agencies to fulfill the organization's needs. Utilize project management best practices, including risk management, quality management, change management, change control, and communication. Functionally manage by providing leadership, collaboration, training, guidance, and support to all IT team members on assigned efforts. Assist and direct efforts to ensure agency compliance with the OIT project management policies and standards.
Writes, edits, and packages a variety of technical documents, including proposals, articles, brochures, reports, and manuals. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions. Works under the immediate supervision of the Server and Cloud Infrastructure Operations Sr. Manager. An individual with demonstrated experience developing and maintaining technical documentation, requirements analysis, business process models, and architecture diagrams. This ideal candidate possesses solid analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Individuals in this position may also possess other related skills, such as proficiency in software team collaboration environments.

NOTICE: If you are hired as vendor staff who will have access to state systems or data or as a contractor for one of the state executive branch consolidated agencies, in adherence to Colorado Revised Statute 24-37.5-401, 403, 404, 405, and 406, and Colorado Information Security Policy (CISP) 002, you will be required to self-register and complete information security training, including but not limited to review and acknowledgement of the Acceptable Use of State Data and IT Resource Policy (AUP) (CISP-018), through the consolidated agency contractor information security training site within 30 days of your contract start date and annually thereafter. Should you be awarded this contract, the state agency will provide the contractor information security training site information to you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting the Server and Cloud Infrastructure Leadership group with identifying and delivering high-priority tasks
- Grooming, prioritization, and coordination of service intake requests for Server and Cloud Infrastructure Operations
- Point of contact for services inquiries for Server and Cloud Infrastructure, and expected to remain up to date on services offerings.
- Liaison with the Service Management Office for Server and Cloud Infrastructure
- Continual updates and refinements to service intake forms, documentation, and service intake process.
- Ensuring service intake requests meet requirements, working with stakeholders to complete necessary requirements, and setting expectations with stakeholders
- Maintaining and reporting on overall portfolio status for Server and Cloud Operations
- Standardizing the framework for time tracking, and overall reporting on staff allocation, utilization, and availability
