**Job Description**
The Writer (Sr. Writer)/Production Manager writes content for knowledge products and promotions and. They are responsible for developing production calendars and delivering on deadlines, established when the production calendar is approved. The ideal candidate understands how to repackage brand and content materials for maximum efficiency. In addition to creating content, the ideal candidate provides feedback to other contributors and edits across digital and print mediums, according to the editorial calendar. An experienced writer and editor with excellent project management skills, the successful candidate must be able to both initiate content and improve drafts in long- and short-form, maintaining the organizations brand voice. The successful candidate will become a power user of the Centers digital asset manager and will ensure that all content housed within is maintained, sharing insights about gaps, trends, and quality with management.
Responsibilities include:
Project Management, creating and following a project schedule
Continually planning, improving, and implementing the communications plan for the Center
Drafting editorial guidelines to ensure all Center produced content is accurate, robust, differentiated, and best of breed
Assisting with the development and the integration of editorial offerings within all Center communication channels
Maintaining and sharing insights from the Centers digital asset management database of content
The Writer/Product Management is expected to represent the Center in the highest regard possible.

**Requirements**
Bachelors degree required (e.g., Communications, Journalism, English)
For Sr. Level: Minimum 5+ years related professional writing and editing experience; Salary range $70,520-$88,150
For Non-Senior Level: Minimum 2 years related professional writing and editing experience; $63,800-$79,750
Very high attention to detail, especially in regard to project management and version control
Experience in online project management system (such as Basecamp or Wrike) desirable
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required
Ability to work independently as well as manage a team schedule
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to synthesize information and conduct research to primary source
Requirements:
A background in Corporate Citizenship, corporate communications, or long-form journalism is a major asset
Preferred:
Impeccable writing and editing skills
A talent for clear, concise communication
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to take and give feedback on work products with professionalism
The ability to juggle competing priorities without getting flustered
