The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm committed to supporting government customers. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Writer to support the United States (U.S.) Department of the Treasury (TREAS), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) with Records and Information Management (RIM) support services.
BEP's main objective is to enhance and modernize the RIM program. This initiative aims to address existing challenges, establish a robust framework, and transition the Bureau to a fully electronic environment that aligns with the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA's) requirements and industry best practices. The initiative involves conducting a detailed records inventory, implementing an Electronic Records Management (ERM) solution that leverages the Microsoft Purview Records Management Feature, completing the digitization process of paper records, and providing training to Bureau stakeholders.
This position is currently hybrid. Work may be performed at the customer facility at the District of Columbia Facility located at 14th and C Street SW, Washington, DC, 20228, or remotely.
50 percent of scheduled hours are performed on-site, and 50 percent are performed through telework. Core hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

- Develops comprehensive documentation for RIM process, policies, and systems.
- Experience in creating user guides, manuals, and training materials.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts, RIM specialists, and IT teams to gather information for accurate and informative documentation.
- Research and write technical documentation for products and services.
- Develop documentation plans and schedules in collaboration with other teams.
- Ensure that documents meet customers standards.
- Review, edit, and improve existing documentation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Continuously improve documentation processes and procedures
- Develop comprehensive documentation for RIM processes, policies, and systems.
- Focus on technical writing roles, specifically in RIM documentation.
- Review and edit documentation for clarity and consistency.
- Maintain and update existing documentation as necessary.
- Participate in project meetings to understand project requirements and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- US Citizenship is required.
- 5 years of technical writing experience is required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
- Experience in technical writing roles, focusing on RIM documentation.
