Instructor/Writer - Cyber Capability Developer

Army and Other Agencies – Cyber and IT Solutions

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking an Instructor/Writer for the 17D BOLC Cyber Capability Developer course to support the Army Cyber School at Fort Eisenhower, GA.

What you’ll need to have to join our award-winning team:

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Possess skills/knowledge of performing office automation work that includes word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; typing a variety of materials from rough draft into final form including narrative and tabular material, e.g., correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records, historical records, survey results, reference library of training catalogs, regulations and other miscellaneous publications; establishing and maintaining office functional files and reference files; knowledge management applications e.g., SharePoint and Blackboard.
  • Graduated and have current (within last five years) TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitator’s Course (FIFC), or Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC); Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1) (as required); and Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent (i.e., Cadre Training Course (CTC) or Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC)).
  • Possess pedagogical/andragogical content knowledge, defined as the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are.
  • Able to diagnose underlying student misconceptions and misunderstandings from the mistakes they make and then help them correct those misconceptions and misunderstandings instead of merely addressing the mistakes themselves.
  • Possess advanced presentation speaking skills (e.g., tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).
  • Graduate of the 170D Cyber Capabilities Developer Technician WOBC or 17D Cyber Capabilities Development Officer BOLC OR a basic or higher (i.e., senior or master) Certification as a Cyberspace Capabilities Developer (CCD) OR demonstrated experience in software development and testing using a distributed version control system, theoretical and practical 4-layer networking, algorithms, and computer science theory.
  • Three years expertise in both C and Python (including network programming in both).
  • One year experience writing x86 Assembly.
  • Two years’ experience in operating system concepts (including LINUX and Windows OS interactions through programming).
  • Demonstrated experience with reverse engineering and penetration testing techniques and toolsets.
