Job Summary:
Iron Mountain is seeking a rising senior for the role of Technical Writer Intern. Interns will document product features and create instructional content to support adoption and learning, focusing on a single product throughout their internship. This role will take direction from the Documentation Manager and will work with Engineering, UX, QA, and Product Management.
Job Duties:
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and user guides
- Create virtual tutorials and videos
- Upload and maintain documentation on collaboration site
- Proofread and edit documents submitted by the team
- Provide a quick turnaround and meet all deadlines
Education Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2025 - July 2026
- Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship
- Pursuing a degree in Media, Communications, English, or related field
Requirements:
- Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program
- Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future)
- This is a 40-hour per week assignment, lasting 12 weeks with the expected start date being May 21, 2025, and ending on August 13, 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machine learning data preparation techniques, machine learning models, and AI technology
- Self-motivated to complete work assignments and learn new software and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit
- Receptive to feedback on work
- Initiative to solve problems independently
