The individual will produce high-quality, compliant, and persuasive technical content for Federal Civilian and Department of Defense proposals. This position collaborates closely with operations, capture managers, subject matter experts, and technical staff to develop proposals that are clearly communicated, align with government requirements and evaluation criteria, and accurately reflect the company's capabilities. We have some very interesting clients and skill sets that will make you want to learn more!

Active SECRET clearance preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling technical content for government proposals, including technical approach, management plans, staffing plans, past performance, and other proposal sections, as required
- Work with subject matter experts to gather, organize, and transform complex technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive content
- Review and edit proposal sections to meet compliance standards and improve clarity and quality
- Tailor technical writing to fit the proposal's win themes, ensuring that the solution is clearly described and emphasizes the company/team strengths and differentiators
- Perform final reviews of technical content to ensure that the writing is accurate, well-organized, and free from errors
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and internal teams to clarify technical aspects and ensure alignment on proposal objectives and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Local to DC Metro Area.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GovCon proposal writing
- Knowledge of proposal lifecycle and compliance requirements, including RFP and government contract procedures.
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and managing complex technical proposal sections for GovCon proposals
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills
- Artificial Intelligence experience highly desirable
- Superior attention to detail with excellent Microsoft Word skills
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, RFP/RFQ requirements, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to translate technical jargon into clear, compelling, and customer-focused language
- Experience with capture and proposal tools and techniques, such as Shipley or APMP methodologies
- Must have a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with senior staff
