About Quikaid:

Quikaid is a Social Security disability representation firm based in Saint Petersburg, FL. Established in 1993, we offer legal services to clients across the United States. As a well-managed and rapidly growing company, we provide a dynamic and engaging work environment.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking experienced Legal Assistants or Paralegals with experience in developing Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims to join our Hearings Department. Our Hearings Department is vital to our company’s and our clients’ success. This role plays a critical function in advocating for clients and ensuring the best possible outcomes for their Social Security disability claims. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of SSDI and SSI and be skilled in drafting professional documents such as briefs and memorandums, with strong attention to detail and the ability to refine content for clarity and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, medical providers, contracted Hearings Representatives, the Social Security Administration, and Administrative Law Judges to gather and convey essential information.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and order medical records to strengthen and support disability claims.
  • Draft pre-hearing briefs (typically 2-3 pages) that summarize the medical and factual evidence of a claim, using our proprietary brief-writing tool for structure and content.
  • Prepare additional pre- or post-hearing memorandums and documentation as required to support case development and adjudication.
  • Develop claims comprehensively, tailoring strategies to the unique facts and circumstances of each individual case.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all necessary actions are completed, optimizing the likelihood of a favorable outcome for clients.

Our training provides comprehensive instruction on Social Security administrative law and regulations, supplemented by regular continuing education sessions
