We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Technical Writing Supervisor responsible for overseeing the development, quality, and timely delivery of technical documentation for complex sortation systems and related products. This position requires a solid background in technical documentation within an engineering context, familiarity with Component Content Management System (CCMS), and strong organizational skills. It is located in our Baltimore office, 5 days/week.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end prioritization and management of technical documentation projects, ensuring alignment with Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, Services and Content Operations objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Product Development, and other Engineering teams to clarify project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Implement style guides, templates, and standards to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality of documentation across all projects.
- Coordinate with Content Operations to develop content models, workflows, and reuse strategies that align with content strategy goals and meet the needs of the business.
- Explore and implement tools like Generative AI to streamline content creation, improve content personalization, automate routine tasks and drive productivity of writers and SMEs.
- Supervise and mentor a team of technical writers and PM tech comm, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture with high standards of work quality and productivity.
- Build win/win relationships with Engineering, Product Management, and Services teams to ensure documentation aligns with product functionality and customer needs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment between Technical Writing, Technical Training, Content Operations, and other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communications, or other related fields.
- 5+ years in technical writing, ideally in an engineering or technical environment, coordinating complex documentation projects, setting and communicating priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- 5+ years proven leadership in managing, planning, developing, and motivating a high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of technical writing authoring tools, XML, structured authoring and content management best practices. Familiarity with Oxygen, Acrolinx and Tridion is a plus.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, skilled at building positive relationships, connecting people and information, and working across groups to identify gaps and align around solutions.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and other emerging tech to enhance productivity in content creation and accuracy.
- Organized and resilient, with a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to drive change, and a commitment to high-quality standards.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.
Salary Range: $90,100 to $141,000.
