Communications Coordinator

About the Position: We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle researching and writing press releases, and creating diverse content for the agency website, infographics, blogs, speeches, marketing materials, social media, and newsletters, while also serving as a copy editor for team members. Responsibilities include assisting in developing communication strategies, such as responding to media inquiries, and scheduling media interviews. The role may involve managing and enhancing our presence on social media channels, creating digital content, and executing social media strategies at events. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to marketing efforts, including graphic and content creation.

Job Type/Salary:
  • Application period: 12/17/24 -12/23/24
  • Full-time
  • Vacancies: 1
  • Annual Salary is $58,750.00
  • Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5
  • FLSA Status: Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or related field
  • Two years of copy-writing experience 
  • One year of press relations experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

Special Requirements:
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
