The ideal candidate will be equal parts producer and videographer, possessing the ability to craft timelines, build shot lists, and assemble storyboards while executing all phases of production in shooting, lighting, editing and running sound. The Senior Video Producer will help develop matchday social content, various short and long form video series, and one-off tentpole videos that help support various club initiatives. - Play a major role in the look and feel of FC Cincinnati's matchday video content
- Produce end-to-end content for FCC's social media channels, digital platforms, Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass content, broadcast initiatives and in-stadium boards.
- Engage in pre-production planning, creative direction, filming, and editing of FCC content
- Produce long form and short form video features for social media, digital, Apple TV+, and broadcast
- Demonstrate a plan first and shoot second mindset by building and tracking timelines, shot lists, and storyboards.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop creative concepts and produce content.
- Find new and exciting ways to amplify the FCC digital and match-day experience
- Stay up to date with social media trends and identify ways to get FCC in the conversation
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content to increase revenue and brand recognition
- May be required to travel, which may include air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights
- Meticulous organization & planning skills
- A producer's mindset with a videographer's skillset
- An outstanding track record of the ability to work cross functionally within a large organization
- Outstanding creative collaboration skills, and an understanding that the best ideas can come from anywhere
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent technical videography and editing capabilities
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates fantastic storytelling
- A genuine interest in storytelling that is based just as much in longer form docu-content as it is in short form highlight reels.
- An eagerness to receive feedback and constructive criticism
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, think creatively, multi-task, and effectively communicate
- Excellent writing and proof-reading skills, including superior attention to detail
- Familiarity in creating video in different specs, for various aspect ratios on multiple platforms
- Strong knowledge/understanding of:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Premiere and After Effects)
- DaVinci Resolve
- Sony Cinema Cameras (FX6 & FX3)
- Composition, Lighting and Framing
- OBS
- YouTube Live Streaming
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training or experience required
- 5+ years of experience in Video Production
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC game schedule, special events, and projects
