About the Position The Art & Art History Department maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary non-tenure track positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.
This pool is specifically for candidates interested in teaching studio art courses.

Position Responsibilities:

Instruction in various Art Studio courses assigned by Department Chair.

Required Qualifications
  • MA/MFA (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and professionalism
  • Commitment to working with diverse students and staff, including cultivating learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds


Preferred Qualifications
  • University level teaching experience
