As the Enterprise Creative Director at Northrop Grumman, you won't just be making ads — you'll be moving the needle on one of the most respected brands in the world. In this dynamic role, you'll directly lead a powerhouse in-house agency team of seven, driving creative development from initial concept to compelling visuals and ad copy for cutting-edge interactive marketing, online campaigns, digital content, and beyond. With access to additional in-house production teams and studios strategically positioned across the country, you’ll have the resources to create content faster than ever before. Reporting to the Director of Brand Management, Communications, you'll take the helm on multiple high-impact projects. Your leadership will guide the aesthetic and narrative forces behind Northrop Grumman's branding efforts, ensuring that each piece of creative work is not only visually stunning but also powerfully effective. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors and top-tier agency partners, all while adeptly incorporating feedback from key stakeholders to refine and elevate your output. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Inspire: Direct your in-house production team to create paid advertising assets for print, social, and digital platforms using strong visual storytelling techniques. Write with Impact: Craft and inspire punchy headlines, scripts, and short-form content, focusing on data-driven, dynamic, and programmatic advertising. Brand Authority: Oversee project planning and execution, acting as a key authority on brand, marketing, and advertising best practices. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of creative talent, ensuring that their work is consistently innovative and of the highest quality. Project Management: Handle project logistics, from talent sourcing and vendor coordination to tracking production budgets and licensing agreements. New Business Development: Participate as a Brand leader in new business efforts, fostering an environment of creative risk-taking and growth. This position is preferred to be located in Falls Church, VA or Redondo Beach, CA, but the qualified candidate must be located near an existing Northrop Grumman facility within the continental United States. Teleworking arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field and minimum of 12 years of creative leadership experience in an agency or corporate setting, with a focus on brand storytelling and content production OR Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field and minimum of 10 years of creative leadership experience in an agency or corporate setting, with a focus on brand storytelling and content production. A portfolio showcasing print and digital work (out of home, social, mobile, web) and campaign work. Expertise and talent as both a conceptual thinker and hands-on writer. Solid understanding of the creative development process, providing timely and constructive feedback. Excellent presentation and people-management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet. Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team/organization-building experience. Ability to remain composed and adaptive in rapidly changing environments and scopes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in brand strategy, with a record of driving brand innovation and transformation. Proficiency in using creative insights and data analytics for decision-making and campaign effectiveness. Familiarity with current immersive content trends and production best practices. Experience in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is a plus. Salary Range: $121,300 - $210,700 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
