JOB FUNCTION: Manages operational delivery, cost model and team who deliver customer-focused and professional creative agency services to internal customers. Facilitates traffic, project management and business creative delivery of cost-effective and high-quality creative materials based on briefs from stakeholders across the organization, including regional and business marketing employees, business operation functions and other colleagues. Executes overall marketing and brand strategy for the department to ensure a strong design presence and storytelling, as well as maintaining resources and operations models. Maintains impeccable knowledge of brand guidelines and resources. Establishes a measurement model and provides production tracking to drive continuous improvement in project management, process, copy, design, translation and multimedia. Accountable for process implementation and automation, and vendor selection and management. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains an understanding of target audiences and business segments and collaborates with internal subject matter experts. Manages the onboarding and performance of team members by providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to. Directing and motivating teams of designers, illustrators, copywriters, content quality, linguists, etc. to help them use their talents effectively. Oversee customer and external agency pitches and proposals Oversee cost model, deliverables, timelines and budgets, including internal team and external agencies (content, design and translations) Meet with customers or upper management to explain the global and regional content strategy (incl. digital), campaign strategies and solutions Ensures that effective and transparent production processes, cost models and staffing strategies are in place, managed and continuously improved. International content review and governance: Maintains impeccable knowledge of brand and legal guidelines and resources to ensure all execution is on brand and legal, including ones delivered by external agencies. Manages project queue to assign project managers, content writers, designers and content quality specialists to projects and tasks Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices Contributes to business creative success by performing other tasks as required WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT? Minimum Knowledge Preferred 8 years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency including 2 years or more of relevant management/leadership experience or demonstrated competency Assessed and implemented technology and automation Minimum Skills Preferred Hands-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development Resource and budget planning Operations and continuous improvement: Project management, process/production management, capacity management and account management skills.
