Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Graphic Design Assistant will work closely with staff members in the Marketing and Communications Office to provide graphic solutions for a variety of print and digital marketing materials that promote and support St. Olaf College.

The graphic designer is responsible for designing graphics and layouts for print and digital communications. The graphic designer is responsible for making sure that all the materials produced follow our brand's guidelines.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Students applying for this position must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator - and Microsoft PowerPoint/Keynote. A working knowledge of basic web design, especially using Word Press, is a plus. Applicants for this position must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and be detail-oriented.
