Our growing company is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating engaging content for a variety of platforms, with a strong focus on video production, trend adaptation, and analytics-driven strategy. This position is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating impactful designs and content that align with brand objectives.

Position Overview

The Social Media Specialist is a creative and strategic professional responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing social media strategies while creating compelling content, particularly videos and animations. This role requires strong design skills, an understanding of platform-specific trends, and the ability to measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation and Management:
    • Develop and manage a content calendar for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
    • Create and publish engaging organic posts, reels, and short-form videos tailored to each platform’s audience and trends.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with boarder marketing campaigns.
  2. Video Production:
    • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content to enhance audience engagement and tell compelling brand stories.
    • Utilize tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software to create polished content.
  3. Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
    • Stay updated on evolving social media trends, platform features, and algorithm changes to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
    • Propose and implement creative strategies to elevate the brand’s online presence.
  4. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor social media KPIs such as engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic.
    • Provide data-driven insights to improve content strategies and maximize impact.
  5. Design & Creativity:
  • Design visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines for fonts, colors, and overall style.
  • Create animations and motion graphics as needed.

Skills & Experience

  1. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for graphic design and video production.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific nuances for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  1. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with animation tools like After Effects.
  • Photography skills create high-quality visual assets.
  • Familiarity with pre-press and print production processes.

  • Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, to sustain adequate visual focus over extended periods of time on a computer.
  • Ability to read, process, and follow written directions and procedures.
  • Ability to begin, continue, or find work without needing to be told or encouraged to do so.
  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration for long periods of time on computer-related (seated) or machine-related (standing) tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
