Your Impact The primary purpose of this role is to lead and direct internal and external production teams/agencies while collaborating with marketing strategy and digital channel leaders to execute best-in-class video content. This role manages video creation in digital and social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging video formats. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in social-first content production, be fluent in the tools and trends shaping the future of social video and deliver results that resonate with audiences across organic and paid campaigns. What You Will Do Create thumb-stopping, high-performing social video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms, with an emphasis on hooks, retention strategies, and engagement optimization. Lead and inspire cross-functional production teams, including internal producers and external agencies, to develop innovative and impactful content that meets brand and campaign objectives. Direct and oversee all aspects of social video production, from ideation, scripting, and storyboarding to production, editing, and post-production using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other industry-standard software. Stay ahead of social media trends, experimenting with new formats, effects, and techniques to ensure content is cutting-edge and resonates with target audiences. Leverage expertise in social media algorithms to optimize video content for maximum reach and engagement, analyzing performance metrics to inform future strategies. Collaborate with paid media teams to adapt organic content for ad formats and optimize creative assets for performance marketing. Build and manage a robust talent pipeline, including producers, editors, contractors, and influencer partnerships, ensuring scalability and creative consistency across projects. Manage project timelines and budgets, delivering high-quality content efficiently while reducing production costs through innovative processes. Negotiate with production vendors, oversee SOWs, and handle business affairs, legal, and talent matters related to video production. Maintain brand authenticity across all content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and visual guidelines. Partner with content planners and channel managers to analyze content performance and provide actionable insights for future improvements. Develop and maintain a content management system (CMS) for video assets, ensuring seamless distribution across platforms, including streaming devices and lowes.com. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. 5-7 years of relevant experience in video production, social media marketing, or a related field. Proven expertise in creating and optimizing video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first platforms. 2-3 years of people management experience managing a creative team or production studio. Proficiency with video production tools, including iPhone production, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Strong portfolio showcasing social-first video content with measurable results. Deep understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for organic and paid content optimization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or an MBA. Experience in a retail, home improvement, or contractor/trades environment is a significant plus. Familiarity with influencer marketing and integrating influencer content into social media strategies. Strong knowledge of agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Sprint). Exceptional problem-solving, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated self-starter with a passion for staying at the forefront of social media trends and technology.
