Rapaport Group Publisher
The Rapaport Group is pleased to offer an outstanding career opportunity to a qualified individual who can fulfill the position of Rapaport Group Publisher. The selected candidate will oversee Rapaport Information Services projects and products. They will be responsible for all Rapaport content creation, distribution, marketing and sales. This will include the Rapaport Magazine, Rapaport.com website, Rapaport social media and a broad range of new, sophisticated digital information services.
The successful candidate will support Rapaports brand values which are the creation of ethical, transparent, competitive and efficient diamond, gem and jewelry markets. They will work honestly with the team to communicate the real situation in these markets without obligation to any advertisers or concern about creating controversy.
The publisher must be a good person that cares about people. They will manage a diverse team of dedicated individuals with a broad range of specialized skills and independent personalities. Responsibilities:
- Represent the brand values and vision of the Rapaport Group
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of talented individuals
- Manage content creation, distribution, marketing and sales through digital platforms
- Monetize Rapaport Information Services through subscription and advertising sales
- Oversee and direct a marketing and sales team, set targets and manage sales campaigns
- Build and maintain close working relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders
- Manage budgets and coordinate short- and long-term revenue strategies and targets
- Drive and manage product development to create additional revenue streams
Requirements:
- A proven leader with 5+ years of management experience in publishing/media
- Digital-savvy individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing and publishing
- Solid track record in driving revenue and effective budget management
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Based in the US or Israel, international travel will be required
