Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on SEM Specialist to assist in developing and executing a SEM and SEO strategy, as well as supporting strategy and execution for other paid channels, that will directly impact the growth of our business. As an SEM Specialist, you will report to the Head of Marketing and work collaboratively with the marketing team to establish a foundation that will enable us to achieve our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling not only search engine marketing, as well as working with paid acquisition operations within a high-growth tech environment. A big plus if you have developed and managed paid campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment.
What You Will Do
- Plan, develop, and implement SEM and SEO strategy.
- Work towards optimization and ROI maximization.
- Regularly perform thorough keywords research.
- Identify key SEM KPIs.
- Setting up and managing digital marketing campaigns.
- Setting up and managing a trading desk solution.
- Prepare and present reports regularly.
- Pinpoint deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Build, manage, optimize campaigns across all paid channels
- Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization.
- Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
What You Will Do
- Experience as a SEM and or SEO Specialist, as well as handling other paid channels. Plus if experienced in handling and setting up an external trading desk.
- Hands-on experience with planning and implementing a successful SEM and SEO strategy.
- Experience in web analytics. Experience in Matomo is a plus.
- Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
